Colour Collection Lip Perfection Lipstick | Nitty Gritty Reviews

Heyaaa! I'm back from the dead- err the sloth world I mean. Anyways I'm here to show you guys the nitty gritty on Colour Collection's Lip Perfection Lipstick. ;D

The Nitty Gritty: (As taken from Sample Room's page)

Colour Collection's Lip Perfection Lipstick is a treatment lipstick infused with Argan Oil for ultimate lip perfection.

Argan oil is pressed from the nut of the fruit of the Argan Tree, which is only found in Morocco. The argan tree lives to be about 150 to 200 years old and does not start producing the fruit until it is 30 to 50 years old. Because the tree is found only in a limited area, the oil itself is quite rare.

  • Liquid Gold from Morocco – one of the most expensive oils in the world

  • Contains a wealth of nutrients and antioxidants such as Vitamin E (2x more than Olive Oil) – fights off damaging effects of free radicals, Vitamin F – essential fatty acids for skin elasticity and Squalene – powerful antioxidant that maintains skin’s moisture

Packaging

The packaging of this is pretty simple and elegant. You have a nice white tube with the writing of Colour Collection up front, a gold rim, indicating where it's cap starts and the color/variation of the lipstick is indicated below the lipstick.

Variations/ Swatches

This has 3 shades, Amore, Bella and Crema. I got this from sampleroom way before I started blogging with chicmix 2.0, and out of the three, I felt more inclined to get a sample of Crema. Crema is a pink lipstick with coral undertones that is most prominent in the tube. To give you an idea of what I mean, I've done a swatch with half of my lips wearing said lippie and the other half with nothing.

Coverage/Finish

This baby glides on your lips like a dream, and on the application, it does not settle into the fine lines. I think the argan oil helped a lot with that part.

Coverage wise, you need to have at least 3 apply and blot sessions with this lipstick to get a full pink coverage for your lips. The blot part of applying said lipstick also helps it to stay even longer. The finish of this lipstick has a slight sheen when you apply it and if you don't like too much gloss/sheen, that is also what the blotting is for. :D

Price/ where to get

PHP 399 for every 4g /Tupperware Brand Dealers

Overall(4 out of 5 )

I love how naturally pink it makes my lips look, and it makes me look and feel like an innocent teenager. Wait, may inosenteng teenager pa ba ngayon? haha jk! ;)

Only downside is that it's only available through Tupperware brand dealers, or if they restock in Sample Room, and the price. But don't fret cause Tupperware holds these sales that make the said lipstick go from 10%-50% off :D

The staying power is not that strong as well, at only 2-3 hours and that it's pretty much gone after you eat... If you don't mind reapplying lipsticks now and then like me, then this is good for you.

Pretty much repurchasing this in other shades after I finish my tube... I wanna try Amore next cause I still have this thing for reddish orange lip colors until now :D

Have a very Merry Christmas! :)

  11. It looks so good on you! :) I like the addition of argan oil as I find other lipsticks too dry to put on directly without any balm before it.

  13. I've tried Argan Oil before (got it from the BDJ BOX) and I applied it on some of my scars that I was hoping to have lightened a bit. hehe This is the first time I've heard of Argan Oil incorporated in a lipstick. The pink shade looks so cute. ^^
