A-Rest-Tea Place near Bamboo Organ Church | iMunch

Me and pichi were up and out a few of nights ago cause I was starving and wanted to eat. So we decided to try out this restaurant that's a couple of blocks away from our place near Bamboo Organ Church in Las Pinas. At first it was looking so-so on the outside, but curiosity got the better of myself and I urged him to have our nightsnack in A-Rest-Tea Place...

Milk tea- aresttea place

A-Rest-Tea Place on the outside looks like any tea house, except for their eye catching decor that will make you curious about what really IS going on inside. I found that this is a really fun place to just relax, enjoy a cuppa milktea and chill with friends. I think it's a teen/young adult's relaxing place with the swings as part of their seats...

They also have tables that is purposely made for guests to sit indian style... I loved that part cause it's sure to let you start your journey to relax yourself hehe..

They also have a few board games and cards that you can borrow while waiting for your drink.

Their food is like REALLY AFFORDABLE. With their finger foods starting from 25.00Php up to 60.00Php, and as for the milk tea, they serve quite a variety of flavors. From fruit teas and classic milk teas starting at 45.00 Php up to 100.00 Php, and you can even have them as a frappè for an additional 15-20.00Php . :)

What we got are a couple of flavors of their bread sticks namely:

Mushroom Chicken Pesto (25.00 Php): A dish that will have you wanting more cause it's very cheesy and full of mushrooms. The taste of pesto is there but it's quite subtle, and the chicken is actually around the center part of the dish. I love it cause really, it's full of cheese and mushrooms. What's not to like? :3

Roast Beef Breadsticks(25.00 Php): Similar to the Mushroom pesto with regards to the cheese, and you can taste the beefy flavor as you go through it more. :)

Milk tea- aresttea place

Creme Bruleè Milk Tea( 70.00 Php for 16oz): Loving this as I feel it's the creamier and less sweet version of a Hokkaido Milk Tea... Pearl serving is just right. Plus the cute mugs that they use is a plus :3

Milk tea- aresttea place

Cookies and Cream Milk Drink(70.00 Php; 12oz): Very sweet for my taste... I think it would've been just right if the cookies were on a lesser scale, but then again, I think this drink is for the kiddos, tweens and teens alike who have a sweet tooth. :) Felt like I was drinking Magnolia's Chocolate Milk Drink with crushed cookies... #Batang90's :3

A couple of things though, I do wish that they have hot sauce or Tabasco that I'm sure could've given the Roast Beef breadsticks and their other finger foods a bit of kick when the guest needed it...

And I really really think that this place will get better if it can serve Shisha on the side as well. I'd really gladly pay for that perk for sure... If that happened, this is gonna be my TO GO chill place every other day of the week.. ;) Hmm, and maybe some classic books to read inside the resto, with a variety of genres from mystery thriller to romantics would be nice. :)

PS: Excuse the photos as it's already night time and I used a cellphone cam to do this, malay ko bang I'll like it so much that I'll review said restaurant?! ;) hehe..

  11. depends on where you're coming from, but I don't recommend Sunday Afternoons as there's mass, and also not during Weekday lunchtime or 4 -5 PM as there are a lot of schools that are having their break or students out to go back home...

  17. Such a cozy and creative hub. Here in Cebu, more coffee shops like this are emerging, trying to attract the younger gen. I think they're successful at it!

  20. Too bad, we didn't see this place when we visited the Bamboo Organ. Maybe we can drop by next time. It was a hot day when we went to the Bamboo Organ Museum. I think the affordable and cold drinks here would have given us a perfect snack after our tour.
