The DEW Tour Rides in Manila | Skateboarder's Showdown with Mountain Dew

Pinoy Skateboarders just got the chance of their lives with the adrenaline charged showdown happening at Circuit Makati. Up for grabs for our amateur Filipino skateboarders is a chance to win a trip to the Dew Tour USA, one of the biggest and most-awaited events for skaters around the world.





The face-off, aptly named the Dew Tour Am Series, is the showdown for the winners of the Mountain Dew Bootcamps that happened in Laguna, Cebu and Davao. Last year, Metro Manila is the star, but for the Dew Tour Am Series Year 2, it's for the whole of the Philippines, skaters in and out of the Metro.







“We had a great time when we held the Dew Tour Am Series for the first time in the Philippines last year but we wanted more skateboarders to display their talent and tricks. That’s why we held the bootcamps ahead of the Dew Tour AM Series,” said PepsiCo Flavors Category Manager.
“Skateboarding earned a unique energy and color over the years and Mountain Dew is proud that it has become a part of the growing momentum through the Dew Tour Am Series,” she added.



Another treat happening in the event is the fact that Mountain Dew pro skateboarders Theotis Beasley, Chris Colbourn and Reemo Pearson will make a demo of their best tricks and moves at the Dew Tour Am Series. The skating legends will also show their support for the local skateboarding community.
“The Philippine skate scene has overwhelming energy and I am really glad that I was able to witness an extraordinary display of talent. I hope skaters here will sustain the skating passion which is growing around the world” Mr. Beasley said.
The winner of the Dew Tour Am Series will also win P75,000 in cash. The second and third place winners will also receive cash prizes.
