Althea Petal Velvet Powder Review

Althea recently launched their own original product, and this would be the Althea Petal Velvet Powder. I got one for myself and I tested it out to see how it fares with my combination skin.

The Packaging:

I am so in love with the simple and cute packaging of Althea's newest product. It's a plastic container that looks like glass and has a mini powder puff. It's also got the manufacturing date but the downside is that this container only has 3 g of product. You can buy it at Althea Online Shop for Php 210.

It's so PRETTY! Also for the product itself I used it as a primer because upon reading the ingredients, aside from the main ingredients of this product which is the Althea Flower Oil Extract which is full of antioxidants that's great for our skin, green tea extract for sebum control, and Mandarin Orange extract to prevent dehydration of the skin and brightens dullness of our skin.

As a setting powder I found that it can make your makeup look better and make the skin more blurred/blended when you use this. A word of advice though, translucent powders like these are made to use sparingly so that you won't see any trace of it in flash photography :D

  1. I'm always careful when it comes to flashback especially for clients, I haven't tried this one though, looks cute, because of the packaging, saw some of our Co fellow youtubers are using this as well

  3. I keep seeing this on my FB feeds and I'm really curious. I currently use Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder as my setting powder and I wonder if this one's better at keeping oil at bay. Price is within the same range so I might just give this a try once :)
