doTERRA Essential Oils finally arrive in Philippine Shores
Essential Oils are named as such because they are essential to our well being in one way or another. I recently delved into the deep world of Essential Oils with doTerra PH, and for this post I'll be giving you a "what's what?" guide on these magic liquids.
What can Essential Oils do?
Essential oils are usually used to treat migranes and headaches, but it can compass to treating the following as well:
- stress, anxiety, depression
- Stomach aches
- diabetes
- skin diseases
- inflammation
What is doTERRA PH?
doTERRA is derived from the Latin words “Gift of the Earth”. Which is what essential oils are- the concentrated form of different gifts of nature to us- like lemon, orange, peppermint, lavander oils to name a few.

How to use doTERRA Essential Oils
- Aromatic/ Diffusion
- We pinoys already use white flower to get rid of the headaches we have or motion sickness inside a moving vehicle. Essential oils tend to work faster and last longer than them, plus you can have other choices for aromas like lavander if you're not up to smelling some peppermint.
- With diffusion, you can do a mix and match of smells to help start your day right. You can go for stimulating oils like peppermint, orange, grapefruit or rosemary for an invigorating start of day, or have a mix of sedative oils like lemon, lavander etc., for a good night's sleep.
- Topically/Massaage
- Essential oils are easily absorbed by the skin. You can use this to fix say coughs by massaging doTERRA Melaleuca, Eucalyptus oils into the chest and neck.
- Note: never use essential oils (even topically safe ones) in your ear canal or near your eyes!
- Internally
- Yes, doTERRA is a theraputic and food grade Essential oil which makes it safe to use when ingested as well. Make sure to ask your doTERRA PH Expert to guide you on what you might need.
- You can mix a couple of drops of lemon into your drink for that faster metabolism instead of buying a lot of lemons for the lemon slices in water, or just grab a slim and sassy doTERRA blend along with some water to help manage those munchies or hunger and lift your mood.
Essential Oils on Beauty
doTERRA PH has also mixed essential oils in beauty products like toothpaste, shampoos and conditioners. Others are already available in the market- check your things, you might be already using them!
