Sharp’s ‘In Step With Your Future’ Launch Introduces New TVs, Appliances, and Smart Living Tech

People want appliances that don’t just work — they want products that seamlessly fit into the way they live now. Smarter homes, healthier routines, better entertainment, and thoughtful design have become just as important as reliability. This shift was front and center at the recent showcase of Sharp Philippines Corporation, where the brand introduced a new wave of products alongside a refreshed direction for the company itself.

Sharp is “In Step With Your Future”

With the more future-focused “In Step With Your Future,” Sharp made it clear that it’s entering a new era — one that feels less about simply selling appliances and more about helping shape modern lifestyles. This was revealed during its “In Step With Your Future” Media Conference and Dealers’ Appreciation Night held at Solaire Resort North on May 20, 2026.

“It reflects our commitment to look beyond technology and focus on real life — to understand the challenges people are facing today and to offer solutions one step ahead of time. Sharp will continue to deliver products that make everyday life better,” said Sharp Philippines President, Mr. Masahiro Akiyoshi.

The three booths showcased Sharp’s product journey across generations — from its current lineup of trusted appliances and electronics, to its newest product lineup, and to concept products that represent the company’s future direction. Through these exhibits, Sharp demonstrated how it continues to evolve while staying true to its core values of quality, practicality, and customer-centered innovation. “Customers should choose value, not just price, because Sharp delivers value through health, comfort, energy savings, and enjoyment” Mr. Akiyoshi added.

Future Forward New Sharp Products in a Timeless Style

One of the standout items was Sharp’s new Sharp Studio CS-Series speakers — a lineup that blends vintage-inspired aesthetics with modern entertainment features. Encased in a premium MDF wooden body, the speakers deliver richer, fuller sound while doubling as stylish home pieces instead of bulky tech you’d rather hide in a corner.

But what makes them especially interesting is how multifunctional they are. Beyond Bluetooth connectivity and TWS pairing, the speakers can also work as guitar amplifiers, making them appealing not just for casual listeners but for budding musicians, content creators, or even families who love karaoke nights at home.

With built-in Echo and Reverb functions plus multi-input compatibility, the setup feels designed for the way Filipinos naturally entertain — spontaneous singing sessions included.

Then there’s the growing focus on wellness inside the home, something Sharp clearly paid attention to with its health-centered kitchen appliances. The brand showcased products like its low-sugar rice cooker and upgraded microwaves, highlighting how even everyday cooking appliances are becoming more aligned with healthier living habits.

It’s a subtle but important shift. Appliances are no longer just about convenience; they’re increasingly tied to lifestyle choices, from what people eat to how they manage time and energy at home. Sharp’s approach seems to acknowledge that consumers now want products that quietly support better routines without making life feel overly complicated.

The refrigerators on display also reflected this evolution. Bigger, sleeker, and more refined in design, units like the Mega Freezer felt tailored for real Filipino households as families balance practicality with aesthetics. Storage capacity remains a priority, of course, but the elevated finishes and smarter layouts like having better reaching space on the chiller drawers and rollers for the veggie drawer below, suggest Sharp understands that appliances are now part of the home’s overall visual identity too.

On the entertainment side, Sharp also introduced its premium AQUOS XLED 75-inch QD Mini LED TV, powered by the new X7 X-Revelation AI Processor. Packed with AI Picture Quality, AI Karaoke, Dolby Vision IQ, Dolby Atmos, and gaming features like up to 144Hz refresh rate and FreeSync Premium, the television was clearly built for households where streaming, gaming, and at-home entertainment have become everyday rituals rather than occasional luxuries.

Meanwhile, Sharp’s air conditioning lineup includes the AH-XP10DHF model, available in 1.0hp, 1.5hp, 2.0hp, and 2.5hp variants, featuring a fresh dry function and AIoT functionality, and set to become available later this year.

It features 14 Degrees Celsius Temperature Setting (Lowest setting in the market), Super Jet Mode (Provides rapid cooling in just 5 minutes, with temperatures reaching as low as 5°C.). With a fresh dry function that optimizes temperature and humidity for enhanced comfort.

In additional, it is equipped with Sharp’s AIoT (Artificial Intelligence Internet of Things) technology enhances user convenience by enabling smart connectivity and intelligent control. Through AIoT integration, users can monitor and adjust temperature, humidity, and operating modes remotely via a mobile application. The system also learns user preferences over time, optimizing cooling performance and energy efficiency while ensuring a more personalized and comfortable indoor environment.

The showcase highlighted the brand’s continued commitment to delivering forward-thinking solutions, enhanced performance, and meaningful value to the Filipino people.

The company’s third-segment booth previewed future concepts that may eventually enter the Philippine market, featuring technologies previously introduced in global exhibitions like CEATEC in Japan. The Fridge that has a door you can open on either side for example, and also how they have upgraded their washing machines are very notable. These forward-looking offerings reflect the brand’s commitment to continuous innovation, advanced functionality, and delivering products that align with evolving consumer lifestyles.

Sharp has been in the Philippines since 1982 and, for more than 40 years, has been part of Filipino homes and businesses. Over the decades, the company has built a strong presence in the country by providing dependable products that support the changing needs of Filipino consumers.

Mr. Akiyoshi ended the speech by saying “Sharp will stay one step ahead of people’s needs and continue solving real-life problems, and by delivering value to our customers and working together with our dealer partners, we will grow together.  All of this is not just for today—Sharp will remain “In Step With Your Future.”

Throughout the showcase, Sharp emphasized that innovation should go beyond flashy features. The goal, according to company executives, is to deliver real value through comfort, health, energy efficiency, and enjoyment — things that genuinely improve daily life.
