Banks and Bills that have been Postponed due to COVID-19 Enhanced Community Quarantine

So after all the speeches have been said, guidelines on the community quarantine finally given and adjusted, I bring some semblance of hope and good news with this post. Here are the bills and the banks that will be extending our due dates for around 30 days more in light of the Covid-19 virus:



Meralco- 30 Day Extension from due date
Skycable- 30 Day Extension from due date
Cignal- 30 Day Extension from due date
PLDT, Smart Communications and Sun Cellular- 30 Day Extension from due date for postpaid users
Globe- 30 Day Extension from due date
Maynilad- 30 Day Extension from due date
Manilawater- 30 Day Extension from due date
Batelec II- 30 Day Extension from due date

All of these are subject to the date of the bill, that is covered within the timeframe of the imposed quarantine in NCR and extended to the whole of Luzon. The due date should be by March 15th, 2020 to April 15th, 2020 and no later.

MetroBank
  • 30 day grace period program will be extended to all qualified Car Loan, Home Loan and Credit Card Payments
Chinabank
  • 30 day payment extension for loan customers in good credit standing. This includes Auto/Car and Housing Loans within March 15 to April 15 due dates. They will be NOT charged any late fee or Penalty.

EastWest Bank
  •  30 day payment due date extension will be extended to all qualified Car Loan, Home Loan, personal Loan and Credit Card Payments for eligible customers.

RCBC
  •  30 day payment due date extension will be extended to all qualified Car Loan, Home Loan, personal Loan and Credit Card Payments for customers with good credit standing.
Robinson's Bank
  •  30 day grace period program will be extended to all qualified Car Loan, Motorcycle Loan, Personal Loan, Home Loan and Credit Card Payments. Customer should be in good credit standing to be eligible.

Security Bank
  • 30 day grace period program will be extended to all qualified Auto Loan, Personal Loan, Business Mortgage Loan, Business Express Loan, Home Loan and Credit Card Payments 

UnionBank
  • 30 Day extension for credit card payments with no late fee for qualified customers in good credit standing.

BDO
  •  60 day payment extension will be extended to all qualified Auto Loan, Personal Loan, SME, Home Loan and Credit Card Payments with due dates of up to April 15 2020.

BPI
  • 30 day grace period program will be extended to all qualified Auto Loan, Personal Loan, SEME, Home Loan and Credit Card Payments 
Sunlife
  • Extended grace period of premium payments to 91 days. This extension is applicable for policies or pre-need plans with due dates falling between February 15 to May 31, 2020.
Other banks are also listed in the ABS-CBN website. Or you can check out the page of your bank, and utilities provider for any possible payment extensions.
