The Heritage Hotel Manila Review: New Club Room Options and Deluxe Room options

Located at the corner of EDSA and Roxas Boulevard, The Heritage Hotel has been a mainstay of the Pasay skyline since the mid-nineties. The four-star hotel opened its doors to guests in 1994 and has around 450 well-appointed rooms with the balconies angled towards the Manila Bay.

There are days that we just want to rest and have a staycation without going out of town.  A quick drive to Pasay did the trick for us. The Heritage Hotel is one of our favorite places to visit if I want good food and it is conveniently located, as it is a 30 minute drive from our place.

The Heritage Hotel is also best for people who are looking for  halal-certified dining options or have an early flight because it is around 10 to 15 mins away from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) and Central Manila.

Once you enter their lobby, you will be greeted with a classical architecture, with big columns and a grand entrance. Despite it being up for decades now, they had renovations done, the latest of which are some of their rooms. The pool was also upgraded last year, to a bigger and more modern set up.

What keeps me coming back to The Heritage Hotel is their food, specifically their Laksa. Riviera Cafe, and the food they serve is all Halal Certified, and more than that, they're delicious.

The Heritage Hotel Manila Club Room Tour

We checked in Heritage Hotel for a quick staycation last May 31, and got to try an upgraded Millenium Club Lounge room. The Club Rooms are newly refreshed with a more modern and relaxing vibe, with beds that are ready to give you your best night's sleep yet. The bright but cozy vibes made their rooms even more bigger and feel more luxurious, perfect for those who just want to chill out but don't wanna drive too far. The room had a TV and sofa, your very own pods coffee maker, a chill bar and some fresh fruit to welcome us during our stay.

Plus points for the bathroom that was also refreshed to be more spa-like, with proper lights on the mirror to easily get ready for the day, a bidet for the water closet and a bathtub that is ready for your next hot soak. Fun part that I also noticed with the club room that we got, is that they have refillable shampoo/ bathgel / conditioner containers, which indicate to me that they're taking more steps to be sustainable and eco-friendly.

Millennium Club Lounge

The Millennium Club Room upgrade at The Heritage Hotel Manila was a fantastic experience! We bypassed the lines with our exclusive check-in/check-out access and immediately enjoyed the benefits.

Complimentary breakfast for two (7 AM-10 AM) at the Millennium Club Lounge or Riviera Cafe was a delightful way to start the day.

The lounge offered all-day coffee, snacks (10 AM-9 PM), afternoon tea (3 PM-5 PM), and evening cocktails with snacks (5:30 PM-7:30 PM). The space itself was bright, spacious, and cozy, with a balcony. We enjoyed the generous selection of snacks, and my kids were thrilled with their welcome drinks.

The Heritage Hotel Amenities

The hotel had a spacious pool with lots of sun loungers, with the entrance near Riviera Cafe. You can also do plane spotting in this area.  They had a place there near the pool to do karaoke and Billiards, all you had to do was request.

They have a gym with proper weights and machines, as well as their Paradasia Royale Spa wellness lounge that I hear has a jacuzzi inside. I'm not much for having massages and exercising while on vacation though so I wasn't able to take much photos of those.

The Heritage Hotel Manila Deluxe Room Tour

A couple of months before I stayed at their club room with just the kids, we also had a staycation with their normal deluxe room with two double beds. The room also had a sofa for morning coffee, and a working desk where I was able to catch up on some work with my laptop. They also had a tv, coffee and tea station.

The bathroom had a proper bathtub in it, along with hot and cold shower and water closet, complete with toiletries and towels. The room itself is at a 30 sqm size, offering guests plenty of room, making for a good space to relax in without feeling claustrophobic.

More Things to do around The Heritage Hotel

The Heritage Hotel offers transfers to SM Mall of Asia in Macapagal,– one of the world’s largest shopping mall, is a 15 to 20 minute ride to Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) and World Trade Convention Center (WTC).

You can also visit Gala Food Park, a Japanese inspired food park that's 8 mins drive away from Heritage Hotel. It has authentic japanese food, a really nice tokyo nightlife vibe inside the building but it's air conditioned so you're always cool there, and other activities that can be enjoyed there too.

It is also right across Blue Bay Walk which is a hub for different international restaurants and is also a couple of minutes away from the nearby National Shrine of Our Mother of Perpetual Help , otherwise more known as the Baclaran Church.

Coincidentally, it is also near Redemptorist Aseana Station, which is part of the LRT-1 line where you alight if you are going to the said church. Another place you can go to is Ayala Malls Manila Bay from Heritage Hotel. One way to go there is via a taxi or grab that will take up around 8 to 10 mins.

Free modern jeepney rides are currently available from the LRT-1 Redemptorist-Aseana Station and the LRT-1 MIA Road Station to and from Ayala Malls Manila Bay, if ever you're interested to go to Baclaran Church next after going malling, before heading back to Heritage Hotel.  The route operates daily from 9am to 9pm, with shuttles departing every 30 minutes. Or you can walk to the station from heritage, it's a 15 min walk from the hotel to Baclaran Church.

Price for The Heritage Hotel

During the time we stayed, they had a sale for the Deluxe Room with free breakfast that was at around 5,000 Php, give or take. They also had a sale for their new refreshed club rooms rooms, better if you're a My Millenium member, as they offer better discounts there too.

You can book your stay for The Heritage Hotel Manila direct via their website and socials on facebook or instagram, or various booking websites like Agoda or Klook.
