Tamashii Nations Pop-Up Spot in the Philippines Makes a Return in 2026

I got that nostalgic feeling of being a kid again when I visited the Tamashii Nations Pop-up Spot in Philippines 2026 at Robinsons Place Manila today, where anime fans and collectors gathered to celebrate one of Japan’s most beloved super robots.

Running from March 6 to 15 at the Midtown Atrium, the pop-up brought together galleries of detailed figures, event-exclusive collectibles, and interactive moments with fellow toy collectors and fans. The event is organized with the support of GreattoysOnline, the official distributor of Tamashii Nations products in the Philippines, which is also celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.

The Soul of Chogokin Voltes V Legacy is Finally Here!

At the heart of the event is the release of the Soul of Chogokin GX-118 Voltes V Legacy, a highly detailed diecast collectible inspired by the live-action series Voltes V: Legacy. Previously teased from last year’s Pop-Up Spot, fans can get their hands on the highly detailed and articulated Voltes V diecast figure based on the Voltes V Legacy Filipino live-action show. Seeing the GX-118 up close is exhilarating, with its intricate design and articulation.

There were also large statues of the original Voltes V and its Voltes V Legacy counterpart present, instantly drawing fans eager to snap photos and admire the craftsmanship.

The excitement peaked during the special unboxing stage held on the event’s second day. Hosted by MNL48 Andi, the presentation featured guests Charess and Joestarscream, along with Miguel Tanfelix and Matt Lozano, who portray Steve (Kenichi) and Big Bert (Daijirō) in the live-action series. Akira Terano was also there, the planning team manager, toy collector division of Bandai Spirits. We were all gathered around the stage, eager to witness the unboxing of the much-anticipated figure.

A Gallery of Fan Favorites

Beyond Voltes V, the pop-up offers a gallery of figures from Tamashii Nations’ popular product lines, including S.H. Figuarts, S.H. MonsterArts, Robot Spirits, Metal Build, and Soul of Chogokin.

Walking through the display felt like a quick tour across different fandoms. Plus its like having a sneak peek at the upcoming figures that will be released this year based on popular anime, video games, movies and TV shows.

Familiar characters from My Hero Academia and One Piece stood alongside the merchandise area which is equally exciting. With more than 200 collectibles available, fans can shop for figures across various series, including special-edition releases from Dragon Ball, Ultraman, and Kamen Rider, as well as collectibles from Gundam, Evangelion, and Godzilla.
