On Grills, BBQ and Charaptor | iMunch
When I don't update my blog it can only mean that I've been feeling down and lazy and crap about myself. And that is exactly what happened the past couple of days. Plus the tooth aches. Damn I've been having them since before #LandoPH started and it's way intense so I just didn't have the concentration to write... But now I've decided to come out in the open and once again try to write about the good stuff, just to try and distract myself from the said pain :(... So let me get back to memory lane and show you guys the fun I had while Pichi took me out of my shell and we went to Charaptor.
Charaptor is a BBQ-All-you-can and is located at SM by the Bay in MOA. I liked the rustic indoor setting they had, and the idea of DIY food for lunch is okay with me and pichi.
Anyways, to tell you guys in advance, grills, BBQ and I don't really mix. That's why I wasn't sold by the concept that much, but it is a fun experience in itself. I just find that their selection is kinda lacking, and I felt that it caters to the more exotic kind of palettes, or the ones looking for unlimited pulutan as what was on there was pork, tough beef, not enough seafood and lots of isaw (Pork and Chicken). :3
There are also pre cooked meals already, and I gotta say that their crispy pata is a Godsend as it is most wonderfully delicious, the skin so crispy and it's not dry as to what happens with most ordinary restaurants who have crispy pata. I was kinda wishing that during the time we were there they had soup or other dishes and that the rice is not just sinangag as I like my plain rice with the bbq that we were cooking up.
Dessert table may as well not be there as they only have 3 to 4 fruits on the table. damn.
Drinks are also lots in variety which is a good thing. They have Milo for the kids and a variety of juices and Iced tea to go around the family too.
Maybe I'll come back here sometime again if only because of their really attentive staff and to try out the new menu that they have recently. :)
