Celebrate the Year of the Metal Rat with Mickey and Minnie in SM Supermalls

SM Supermalls gives a fun-filled welcome to the Chinese New Year for 2020! They've got an exciting line up of activities for you and your family. For starters, they've got a meet and greet session with Disney's Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in select SM Stores- starting with Megamall last January 23. They're dressed up in a nice red and gold ensemble to bring good luck to us all!


Mickey and Minnie's latest meet and greet is today- at SM Bacoor. This is FREE of charge and open to the public so you should definitely not miss this photo opportunity! They also visited SM Mall of Asia last January 24 and SM City North EDSA last January 25.

Fans of all ages can also look forward to a special range of Mickey and Minnie products such as apparel, footwear, bag, toys, and accessories. These collections are available at various pop-up stores in SM and SM Department Stores nationwide.

Kids can also get to shine and have some fun on the ramp for the Year of the Rat festivities. Happening TODAY (January 26, 2020) in SM North EDSA the Block, kids can join by by having a minimum single receipt purchase of  2,000 Php of Mickey and Minnie Mouse products from the SM Store's Babies and Kids Wear department. Chinese Horoscope: Most SM Malls have a dedicated board to guide us on what's good and bad for this year- depending on when you are born. You can also know what the new Lunar year has in store for you by attending the Chinese Zodiac Forecast by Feng Shui Master Maritess Allen from January 10 - 26.

Instagrammable Centerpieces: I love how their center booth resembles something out of Disneyland! You can up your selfie game and upload your best photos with the Disney-inspired Chinese New Year installations at SM Malls. You can even do a little Disneybound outfit of the day and grab mickey inspired pieces at the SM department Store.

Cultural Entertainment: Enjoy more fun-filled activities like the Character Parade at SM Mall of Asia, Prosperity Dance, and Chinese Cultural Shows. SM is also offering great mobile games such as Spot the Hidden Mickey and Feed the Panda.
