Bubbleman Dishwashing Liquid | Quick Review

Hi everyone! As a mom, or someone who is in charge of the kitchen, one of our chores would be washing up dishes and pots and pans. Of course we would need to find a dishwashing liquid that's wallet-friendly and also gentle to our hands.

I was given the Bubbleman Dishwashing Liquid for review, and I had a love-hate relationship with it, to be honest. I'll put in my disclaimer here that I just want to be honest with everyone. Plus, I did have a happy ending with this :)

So let's point out the good points first, shall we? :)

BubbleManReview-0238

  • It's Non-flammable and Non-toxic

  • It has this citrusy smell, which is very dominant in the Kalamansi and Lemon variant. The anti-bacterial vairant has more of a frutos smell though...

  •  Contents are free of sodium hydroxide. Sodium hydroxide is used to balance the pH of formulation, which I saw is part of the ingredients list in the leading brand. Take note that this causes irritability for your hands and extreme dryness in some cases. Sodium hydroxide is used usually for cheaper chemicals.

  • It has no Sodium tripolyphosphate. The stuff is banned in many countries because of its harmful effects to our environment.

  • 97+% of the chemicals used are readily BIODEGRADABLE.

  • Easy to rinse

I tried to wash dishes, and the toughest oils from the pots and pans did get washed off easily. Heck, I tried it out on my cosmetic sponge and it got the stains of liquid foundation off after just one wash... I used the antibacterial version by the way.

Here comes the sad part of my story... So, I used it for a week at first and then stopped. Why? Because for some reason, a part of my hands got pretty itchy and dry, specifically, the side of the palms near the pinky finger. ... It was a heartbreaker at first to be honest because I really wanted to like it and I was expecting it to be gentle to my hands because, well, as I read the ingredients, I can't pin point why my skin had such a reaction..

BubbleManReview-0239

After a week of letting the rashes subside, I tried it out again and this time, they didn't come back! I guess it's the same with trying out skincare products, you have to try if it works for you and if it didn't you have to try and give a second chance. Maybe that time it will work because your skin has adopted to it or something. ;)

As of writing this, me and the household help we have here are enjoying the benefits of being eco-friendly while (for the household help) having softer hands. It really is more gentle to the hands rather than the bar of soap or leading dishwashing liquid that they use, as per our kasambahay here.

So, for the price and where to buy, it's quite affordable at only Php 32.50 for the regular sized bottle and Php 120 for its 880  ml bottle. This can be found in drugstores and grocery stores natiowide. :) Thank you to Ms. Jennifer Dizon and Mikewell World of Household Products Company for sending me samples of Bubble Man Dishwashing Liquids for review.

  10. Got some Bubbleman dishwashing liquid as well and i love how it leaves my hands soft. I find its smell too comforting as well or maybe I have flu thus cant smell that much. It is affordable and yes, i will make that switch.

  11. I want to try this! My hands get too dry with the other popular dishwashing brands. Being a stay at home mom with no yaya, parang ayoko naman maging losyang! And sometimes nakikita sa kamay diba? Hehe. Thanks for sharing this! :) - Shalene R
