During my stay, I was captivated by the resort's stunning 3-story lakehouse that provided a 180-degree view of the glistening lake. This one is a hidden gem that I cannot gatekeep for sure.

The lakehouse at Caliraya Lakefront Resort is a haven of space and serenity. The interiors have high ceilings that adds to the feel of an open house concept and luxury. One of its charms is the fireplace that lets you indulge in the feel of making s'mores while reveling in the cool ambiance of Cavinti's evenings. 

The place can accommodate 15 to 20 people. The ground level houses the comfortable bedrooms, and I was really floored as the rooms had beds that can rival a proper hotel. The mattresses were cozy, soft and comfy, which gave us a really restful sleep. Though the room was air-conditioned, the pleasant weather in Cavinti made it unnecessary, with the refreshing breeze from the lake. The en-suite bathroom with a hot shower was a welcome delight, especially after spending time outdoors hiking through Cavinti Falls or the Cavinti Underground Cave.

Activities to do in Caliraya Lakefront Resort

Caliraya Lakefront Resort offers a variety of activities and entertainment options to ensure a memorable stay. For nature enthusiasts, they have a private pier that offers use of a couple of kayaks, pedal boats and paddle boards for stand up paddle surfing. There are lifevests of different sizes for all ages. The staff can also help you rent jetski and boats if you wish. I tried out kayaking on the lake. Gliding through the calm waters surrounded by scenic beauty was an incredibly fun experience. 

The resort also features a KTV room, perfect for singing your heart out with friends and family. 

There was also a gaming room, where we indulged in billiards, mahjong, and a chess table ready for use. It made our getaway even more fun with friends. Another charm of the place is its inviting infinity pool, overlooking the majestic Caliraya Lake, giving breathtaking views. It is an ideal spot for both photos and refreshing fruit shake-sipping moments.

One of the highlights of my stay was spending cozy evenings by the fireplace. While the tropical climate is typical in the country, the fireplace elevated our vacation experience, creating a warm and intimate atmosphere. We paired this delightful setting with charcuterie and wine, making it a perfect evening of relaxation and enjoyment.

An Unforgettable Retreat

My time at Caliraya Lakefront Resort was truly unforgettable. The captivating scenery, luxurious lakehouse, and a plethora of activities left an indelible impression on my heart. I found myself falling in love with this hidden oasis, so much so that I did not want to leave. The entire group cherished the experience, and we were reluctant to say goodbye to our enchanting haven.

Here are some of my tips and reminders when going to Caliraya Lakefront Resort:

• Towels and beddings are provided, but I recommend bringing your own toiletries as well as they don't offer that.
• You need to bring your own food and drink, and charcoal if you're gonna do grilling.
• BRING MARSHMALLOWS. For Smores. I swear. The fireplace is a real treat.
• You have to bring your own car when coming here. Its easier that way. :D
