Wellness Meets Style at Beauty + Health & Wellness Manila and Hotel & Foodservice Suppliers Show

If you love makeup, skincare, or just exploring new ways to take better care of yourself, you’d probably enjoy getting lost inside Beauty + Health & Wellness Manila 2025. I know I did. Imagine rows upon rows of beauty brands — from indie local labels to global names — all under one roof at SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia. Add in a few wellness booths, some free samples, and a couple of inspiring talks, and you’ve got yourself a weekend that’s both fun and eye-opening.

But this year’s expo wasn’t just about finding your next favorite moisturizer or lipstick. For a lot of us there — beauty lovers, small business owners, and future entrepreneurs — it was also about learning how the industry continues to grow, change, and inspire.

The Heart of Beauty and Wellness

The event, held in partnership with the Chamber of Cosmetics Industry of the Philippines, Inc. (CCIP), gathered more than 250 local and international brands across 10,000 square meters of space. During the opening program, Ms. Christine Michelle Reyes, President of CCIP, shared a message that really struck a chord with everyone in the room:

“The cosmetics industry has been evolving at an exciting pace. it is really inspiring to witness how our sector, alongside other industries have gotten today, it is constantly adapting to the ever changing landscape of consumer preferences, strengths and technology... As we move forward, we are building an ecosystem that supports not only business success but also a greater sense of social responsibility.”

And it’s true — beauty isn’t just about trends anymore. It’s about understanding what people want and how we can create products and services that make them feel good, inside and out.

Beauty with a Bigger Purpose

One thing that stood out at this year’s expo was the strong focus on sustainability and ethical practices. More brands are now talking about where their ingredients come from, how they package their products, and how they can make an impact beyond sales. As Ms. Reyes also said in her speech, “This evolution is not only driven by the resilience and creativity of local entrepreneurs, but also by the collective effort of industry leaders, policy makes and organizations like the CCIP who have always been committed to fostering an environment that encourages innovation, sustainability and responsible growth.”

Her message hit home — especially for small business owners who are trying to find their place in the market. The beauty industry may seem big and competitive, but there’s still so much room for new voices, especially those who care about doing things the right way.

Where Beauty Meets Hospitality

What made the expo even more interesting was that the Hotel & Foodservice Suppliers Show was happening right next door. It’s a completely different industry, but the two expos complemented each other perfectly because wellness lies at the heart of both beauty and hospitality.

Their featured session, “Four Friends, Five Topics, One Conversation,” was a fun, unfiltered discussion about tourism, food, lifestyle, and people — all things that tie back to wellness. After all, both industries share one goal: making people feel cared for. Whether it’s a spa day, a good meal, or a reliable skincare routine, it all comes back to feeling good.

As I walked out of SMX that day, hands full of brochures and samples, I couldn’t help but feel inspired. Beauty + Health & Wellness Manila wasn’t just a shopping event — it was a reminder that our passion for beauty can become something bigger. Whether you’re a student dreaming of your own brand, a small business owner, or just someone who loves discovering new products, this event showed that beauty is truly for everyone.

That’s what I’m taking away from this year’s expo — that beauty isn’t just about how we look. It’s about what we create, who we help, and how we make others feel along the way.
