Nitty Gritty Review: Garnier Pure Active Fruit Energy Energizing Facial Foam

Hey! So I'll get to the point- the product I'm about to review has been in use for almost a year (until now meron pa rin siya laman at ginagamit ko pa rin hehe) and I believe this is one of the best facial cleansers I have tried.

I got this baby last year at the BDJ Box Beauty Social in SM North EDSA, and I have been using it for as long as I can remember as a makeup remover and a pimple zapper or for those days that I feel like my face is too dirty from the daily commute that I need something to refresh my face. Chaka nga lang cause the name's a total mouthful haha!

Ingredients

The active ingredients of this cleanser are Grapefruit, Pomegranate and Vitamin C, the first two known to have powerful anti-oxidants that are good for the body and keep wrinkles at bay, and the latter known to stimulate collagen replenishment of the skin.

Please read more to see my verdict, okay? :)

Garnier Pure Active Fruit Energy Energizing Facial Foam Review

Packaging

With looks, the cleanser is housed in a squeeze type tube with a cap that goes "click" for the assurance that it's really closed. This cleanser is set apart from it's older sisters cause of the refreshing packaging. Unlike the subtle colors used on the other Garnier products, this one you can see a mile away in the department store. PS: It's also the prettiest that I have seen from Garnier.

Product Performance:

All I need is a less than pea-sized amount of this to lather up to my whole face, and it smells of crushed oranges on your face which is so refreshing especially after taking my shower in the morning. As a makeup remover, it can really take off the gunk at the end of the day, although I don't use it too near the eyes cause of eye irritation(yung masilam ba.)

I also noticed that whenever I use this for 3 days then rest my face a couple of days then use it again, the long term effect is that it helps your skin to control oil production better.

I don't normally get those really really bad case of pimples, but for those days that I occasionally do(possible cause is unclean brushes or hormones) as a pimple zapper, this is the coolest cause it can zap my zits within 3-5 days. The first photo is taken a day before I filmed my Nearly Naked makeup tutorial, and the next picture is taken 2 days after said tutorial. All that was left is a red mark which as of this moment has already faded.

Price and where to get:

You can get this for 89Php. per 80ml tube and the bigger one is priced for 159 per 150ml in most department stores and Watson's and I even saw some in Mercury Drug Stores.

Overall:

Hell YEAH! It works and it doesn't break the bank. That is until I hit "pan" or finish up my tube which is really really soon, then I'll repurchase. Totally worth it. :)

PS: Please keep in mind that you have to do a skin test first and not slather on the product at once cause with skin care, you have to make sure you have no adverse reactions with the product. ( Hiyangan rin ang ganito mga dears. :) )

PPS:I really really wanna hear you out! Drop your thoughts in the comments section below okay? Oh, and if you liked my post/s please do follow me through bloglovin or check out my social media links.  It'll mean a lot!
