Quick Look and Review: Cyan Modern Kitchen Buffet at Lanson Place, Pasay

Why go to a “modern kitchen”? Simple—because it’s not just about eating, it’s about experiencing food from different places, made fresh, and served with style. A modern kitchen brings together global flavors, local pride, and great service under one roof. That’s exactly what Cyan Modern Kitchen at Lanson Place Mall of Asia delivers.

From the moment you step in, you know you’re in for something special. The place is bright and welcoming, with a sleek, contemporary feel. But the real star here? The food.

Cyan serves an all-day buffet that changes with each mealtime. Whether you’re there for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the spread is impressive and well thought out. You’ll find different stations: Oriental/Asian, Noodle, Indian, Carving & Grilling, Homemade Pizza, and Desserts—each one offering something to love.

 

The Indian station is a personal favorite of mine, with dishes that are usually absent in other buffets around Manila. You have curries and biryanis, but my bias here is the Laksa noodle soup that's made fresh and full of deep, comforting flavors. Over at the Carving station, the roast beef was cooked perfectly at medium for me (but you can request it just the way you like it, rare or medium rare!). There’s also lamb, porchetta, and seafood grilled right on the spot.

Asian dishes are a standout here, too. Sushi and temaki rolls are fresh and neatly made. Chinese stir-fries, Japanese bites, and even their pizzas are done with a twist—thin crust, crisp, and topped with quality ingredients.

And of course, dessert is a must. From rich dark chocolate mousse to mango panna cotta, matcha-filled cream puffs, and local favorites like halo-halo and a crepe station with a variety of fillings—it’s a sweet ending worth saving room for.  

But great food isn’t everything—the service was also excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive, and added to the overall positive experience.

Lunch (Mon–Sat): 12:00 NN – 2:30 PM – ₱2,100


Lunch (Sunday): ₱2,800


Dinner (Sun–Thu): 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM – ₱2,500


Dinner (Fri–Sat): ₱2,800

Kids aged 6–12 get 50% off. 5 and below eat free.
