As part of this initiative, Sharp is hosting a series of exhibits nationwide, designed to bring the products closer to our valued customers. These weren’t your ordinary product displays—they were thoughtfully designed experiences that allowed customers like me to engage with their innovations on a personal level.
There were seven booths all in all, each with their fun games and twist to let customers experience Sharp's products better. The KOTEN exhibit is rooted in Japanese tradition and offered a more intimate way to interact with Sharp's lineup. I got to learn about their products through curated displays focused on seasonal needs and smart living. It made me realize how much thought goes into every product they release.
The J-TECH Festival or Japan Technology Festival, was another eye-opener. It showcased their Japanese inverter technology, with money saving and energy-saving appliances like refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, and air purifiers. As someone who tries to be more energy-efficient at home, I was impressed by how these appliances strike the perfect balance between function and sustainability.
Then came the KUUKI Festival—which, fittingly, means "air" in Japanese. With summer heat and humidity becoming unbearable, this was a timely introduction to Sharp's Plasmacluster air purifiers and other cooling appliances. The Kuuki Festival is your go-to destination for innovative air solutions. I walked away feeling like I’d found the perfect setup for a cleaner, healthier home environment.
Now, if you’re someone who enjoys music as much as I do, the OTO Festival is something you’d love. It was a celebration of Sharp’s diverse range of audio products, as derived from the word Oto, meaning sound. And yes, their karaoke features were a standout—but what really amazed me was the sound quality and portability of their speakers. Whether it’s for family gatherings, parties, or just vibing alone at home, Sharp’s audio lineup truly caters to Filipino music lovers.
The AQUOS Matsuri is an exciting exhibition of Sharp's LED TV innovations. I had the chance to see their XLED TVs up close, and the picture quality was stunning—rich colors, crisp details, and seamless gaming features. As someone who enjoys movie nights and the occasional gaming session, this was one area I didn’t expect to be so captivated by.
And LABADABADAY booth also caught my eye, as it had a more interactive approach, with a variety of engaging activities, including cooking demonstrations and karaoke sessions, creating a fun and interactive atmosphere for all attendees. Furthermore, the event will serve as an educational platform, equipping dealers with valuable insights and strategies to effectively to promote fully automatic washing machines in their stores.
It felt more like a lifestyle event than a product promo, and that’s what made it so memorable.
What left a lasting impression on me, though, was Sharp’s commitment to customer care.
They’re taking their After-Sales Service to the next level with a soft launch in the third quarter of this year, followed by a full launch in the final quarter for their upcoming VIP Program offering perks like up to 20% discounts on parts and labor, free check-ups, priority servicing, and discounted cleaning services for air conditioners and purifiers.
They’re also launching an E-Service platform, making it easy to register products and receive real-time updates—something that adds real value in our fast-paced world.
