Benefit Big Easy Bigger Than BB | Nitty Gritty Reviews

For this post, I'll be giving my two cents on one of the products that I got from my November BDJ Box, the Benefit Big Easy Bigger than BB Liquid to Powder BB Cream.

BenefitBBCream-2

The Nitty Gritty:

It's claims is that it has ingredients known to help balance moisture and oil control. It is a liquid to powder BB Cream and the color self-adjusts to our skin tone, helping to even out the skin tone and conceal imperfections. Let's see if it'll live up to the claim... :D

Look and Packaging:

What I got is the sample size which is housed in a tube type of container. It's quite easy to get just the right amount of product so that's a plus. :) I love how Benefit designs their products, it feels so retro-cool :D

Longevity:

I got the shade of 05 Beige, and it's been tried and tested in the hot commute of Manila. I applied said BB Cream at around 9-ish on my problem areas like the under eyes and sides of the nose and the t-zone area, and when I got to the event, it's still intact. Come 4pm, after another hot commute with the jeep and a whole lot of walking, it's still okay, with very minimal meltdown. :D

Coverage, Finish and Swatches:

*Blended- look how it brightened up my right eye(on your left side)! :D *

It's a BB Cream that starts liquid but dries matte and as for the coverage, it's light to medium. Beige is perfect for my skin tone, and I am totally loving it. :D Actually, I don't think there's a need to worry when it comes to the swatch as it really does adjust to the skin's color. And lookie, it brightened up my undereyes, yet it looks as if no make up is on. :D

Price:

Unfortunately, this is a High-End luxury product as it is priced at Php 2000.00, so a very big thanks to BDJ Box for the Sweet Shoppe Box and letting me have a try for it! :)

Tips and Tricks:

  • Always use setting powder whenever you use this if you want it to last the whole day (like 6 hours and more for the hot Manilenyo weather).

  • If SPF35+++ PA is not enough for you, you can always put sunscreen first before this. But for me, the SPF is a big advantage already. :)

Overall:

I am so putting this one in my wish list for next Christmas! If only Benefit wasn't so high-priced I would've hoarded the stuff. I love how it can last 6+ hours inclusive of the fact that it can withstand the hot Manila weather so you can be sure that you don't have those hulas moments with this on.

It also brightens up the face and evens skin in a natural way, unlike other BB Creams I have tried that gives that white cast or greyish tinge to my skin.

Come to think of it, it's quality that you're paying for here so no biggie on the price. I still love it no matter what. :D

Cheers!

  4. Oh I agree, Benefit is rather expensive and hard on the budget. But works very well and delivers what is promised.
