Black Sheep Coffee at S Maison Review | Hip, Chill and Different at Night
I did mention in my list of restaurants for Mom's day that I loved Black Sheep. I got the chance to try some of their menu out when I went to S Maison's food crawl a couple of weeks back. This is one of those places where I'm definitely staying again and again just because it is larger and quieter than it's neighbor coffee shop Starbucks.
Not that I'm dissing starbucks, I do have my favorite Hibiscus Tea with Pomegranate Pearls there, but sometimes there's no more place to sit because everybody loves Starbucks. So Black Sheep Coffee is an alternative for all the peeps at S Maison who are in need of a chill and hip place to sip coffee, meet with friends or go on a casual coffee date.
What made Black Sheep Coffee Manila Different?
The thing with Black Sheep Coffee is that they don't serve your drinks scalding hot. You don't have to wait for your coffee to cool off as they serve it at the right temperature of 67 degrees where you can already enjoy your coffee with no troubles.
They also serve cocktails here once the sun goes down. Which makes this coffee shop the black sheep of all coffee shops here in the PH. You don't just see a cafe serving your favorite bar drinks anywhere here.

Pros for Black Sheep Coffee is that they have a wider range of pastries and food available unlike other coffee shops in the area. Another is that hip, englishman yet gamer vibe that I'm getting from the murals on the walls. Price vs. quality of food is adequate. Everything is tasty and straightforward.

Overall, I'd say Black Sheep Coffee offers variety from your usual coffee dates, and if you are up for a change of scenery, and got a budget on par with a usual SB Meal, then I think Black Sheep Coffee is your place.
